Christmas Light Installation FAQ

Roofline lighting starts at $5.50 per linear foot, with an $800 minimum per season on our 5-year plan. Beyond that, your price depends on your roofline length and height, plan length, and add-ons like trees, bushes and wreaths. Every quote is free and done on-site. Rooflines are priced per linear foot, per season: $5.50/ft on a 5-year plan, $6.25/ft on a 3-year plan and $7.00/ft on a 1-year plan for single-story homes. Two-story or steep rooflines are $6.75, $7.50 and $8.50/ft. Bushes, wreaths, garland and tree wraps are priced separately.

A 50% non-refundable deposit is due after your 3-day cancellation window, and the balance is due on install day. Multi-year plan renewals are charged to your card on file each October. Prices are per season, plus applicable sales tax.

As early as possible. Installs start in late October and run through December 15. Our calendar fills by mid-November.

Yes. January takedown and off-season storage are included with every plan. We take everything down, label it and store it until next season.

No. Commercial-grade LED lights, custom-cut to your home, plus clips and a timer, are included with every plan. Once they're installed, the lights are yours to keep.

Yes. Ace Christmas Lights carries $2 million in general liability insurance. We attach lights with clips, never nails or staples, and if our work ever damages your home, we make it right.

Just let us know. Service calls are free all season and fixed within 48 hours, and burned-out bulbs are replaced at no charge.

Warm white, pure white, candy cane, multi-color, and red and green. Custom colors are available on request. 5-year plans include one free color change.

Yes, through our sister company, Ace Prestige Wash. Plan customers save 15% on gutter cleaning, done right before your lights go up, so your lights are clipped onto clean gutters.

Every plan includes the same full service. Longer plans lock in a lower per-season price: the 5-year plan saves about 20% and the 3-year plan about 11% compared with a 1-year plan. Your price never goes up during your plan. Compare our holiday lighting plans.

Yes. Your design can grow with you. Add or update pieces any season at your locked plan rate, and 5-year plans include one free color change. Changes for next season just need to be requested by September 30.

Yes. Loved your first season? After your January takedown, we'll offer you another year or an upgrade to a 3- or 5-year plan at a lower rate. Say yes any time through September 30 and your same lights go back up, with no fee to switch and nothing charged until October 1.

Yes. Cancel by midnight of the third business day after signing for a full refund. After that, early cancellation terms are spelled out in your plan agreement, and we'll walk you through them at your free design visit.

Moving isn't cancelling. You can transfer your plan to the buyer of your home at no charge, or move it to your new home in our service area.
